Join us at The Erskine Arms this December for a fantastic festive celebration. Christmas is a time to relax, have fun and catch up with friends and family, so why not do all of this over a delicious meal? With our festive guest ales, mulled wine and christmas treats, the Erskine Arms really does get that Christmas sparkle in the atmosphere!
Our 3 course Christmas menu has been carefully created by our talented team of chefs to include some new and exciting dishes alongside the traditional Christmas favourites.
Our Christmas menu will run from Friday 30th November to Thursday 20th December 2018 alongside our normal menu.
Creamy white onion & sage soup topped with a smoked cheddar croute (v, gfo)
Warm smoked salmon with pickled fennel, sticky beetroot chutney & panko breaded quail’s eggs Crispy wedges of brie served with a caramelised pear, cranberry and walnut salad (v)
Confit duck leg served with rocket & orange salad, celeriac remoulade and spiced plum compôte (gf)
Conwy mussels in a creamy mulled cider & pancetta sauce served with a cob of warm Henllan bread (gfo)
Traditional roast turkey breast & leg meat, pigs in blankets, chestnut & cranberry stuffing, goose fat roast potatoes, mash potato, honey roast parsnips, seasonal vegetables and traditional gravy (gfo)
Vegetarian nut roast served with roasted potatoes, mash potato, honey roast parsnips, tenderstem broccoli, seasonal vegetables and a shallot & tarragon cream sauce (v)
Roasted sweet potato & blue cheese tart served with sautéed new potatoes, honey glazed carrots and roasted cherry tomato sauce (v)
Pan fried cod fillet served with sautéed potatoes, roasted carrots & beetroot, marsh samphire and a white wine, Cointreau & dill cream (gf)
Braised belly of pork served with wholegrain mustard mash, sticky red cabbage, roasted fig, parsnip crisps and peppercorn sauce (gf)
Slow cooked ox cheeks served with creamed savoy cabbage & bacon, fondant potatoes, roasted pumpkin purée and a mulled wine jus (gf)
Luxury homemade Christmas pudding served with roasted plums and brandy sauce
Sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream and butterscotch sauce
Chambord & blackberry crème brûlée served with champagne jelly, raspberry coulis & shortbread biscuit
‘Chocolate & cherries’ – Dark chocolate torte served with white chocolate mousse & a cherry and kirch compôte (gf)
Selection of Welsh cheese and biscuits served with apple & cinnamon chutney, celery, smoked paprika & parmesan palmiers (£2.50 supplement)

Booking is required when dining from our Christmas menu along with a pre-order no less than 14 days before dining. Christmas party bookings must be made by telephone or in person ONLY, unfortunately they cannot be booked through our online system. Please call 01492 593 535 to check availability and book your table. Minimum party size of 8 people.
A non refundable deposit of £10 per head is required to secure the booking. Please return the pre-order form to email@example.com or pop it into the pub.
