Christmas celebrations

Christmas this year is more special than ever, catching up with friends, family and loved ones on time missed over the last couple of years.  As always, there’ll be a lively and friendly atmosphere full of festive cheer making it the perfect place for your Christmas meal.

Our delicious 2 or 3 course menu oozes festive flavours combining all things traditional along with some new and original dishes.

Our Christmas menu will run from Friday 26th November to Friday 24th December 2021 alongside our normal menu.

Christmas Menu

Starters

Cauliflower, Perl Las & hazelnut soup topped with crispy sage leaves served with Henllan bread (gfo)
Smoked mackerel paté with toasted sourdough, sweet pickled fennel & sticky beetroot chutney (gfo)
Goats cheese beignets & whipped goats cheese mousse served with a glazed fig, roasted plum & toasted pine nut salad (v)
Panko breaded croquettes of confit Gressingham duck served with pickled red cabbage, parsnip puree & parsnip crisps
Conwy mussels in a creamy mulled cider and smoked bacon sauce (gfo)

Main Course

Traditional roast turkey breast & leg pigs in blanket, sage & onion sausage meat stuffing, bread sauce, mash potato, goose fat roast potatoes, traditional gravy and seasonal vegetables (gfo)
Pan fried marinated flank steak (served medium rare)
buttered leeks, celeriac puree, sweet potato fondant, pickled baby onions & green peppercorn & madeira sauce (gf)
Wild mushroom & slow roasted butternut squash Wellington, creamy mash potato, buttered baby leeks & carrots, wild mushroom & port jus (v)
Sticky mulled wine glazed bacon chop braised white cabbage & cranberries, parmentiere potatoes & a mustard & cider sauce (gf)
Roasted loin of cod with a leek and potato roulade, curried conwy mussel chowder & crispy kale (gf)

Homemade Desserts

Luxury homemade Christmas pudding served with soused blackberries and brandy sauce
Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and butterscotch sauce
Orange marmalade parfait, white chocolate sponge & ginger bread tuille
Bourbon & black cherry bakewell, macerated winter berries & a vanilla bean crème patisserie
Selection of Welsh cheese and biscuits with winter fruit chutney, smoked paprika and parmesan palmiers (£2.50 supplement)

Booking & Pre Order

Booking is required when dining from our Christmas menu along with a pre-order no less than 14 days before dining.  Christmas party bookings must be made by telephone or in person ONLY, unfortunately they cannot be booked through our online system.  Please call 01492 593 535 to check availability and book your table.  Minimum party size of 8 people.

A non refundable deposit of £10 per head is required to secure the booking.  Please email the pre-order form to info@erskinearms.co.uk or pop it into the pub.

Wines & Champagnes

We will happily suggest some options for wines and champagnes if you would like to organise these in advance of your party, please just ask if you want some help choosing!
