We’re sure that most people aren’t thinking about Christmas yet but there are some organised folk out there who like to get things booked well in advance! Over the past couple of months our team of chefs have been working hard to put together a delicious Christmas menu for this year.
Our 3 course Christmas menu has been carefully created to include some new and exciting dishes alongside the traditional Christmas favourites.
Our Christmas menu will run from Friday 29th November to Saturday 21st December 2019 alongside our normal menu.
Honey roasted celeriac, hazelnut and truffle soup served with Henllan bloomer bread (v, gfo)
Prawn cocktail – Atlantic prawns, crayfish & wild crevettes, crisp little gem lettuce, confit cherry tomatoes, pickled cucumber, Marie Rose sauce and brown bread biscuits (gfo)
Wild mushroom, tarragon & Cognac paté with pear & date chutney and toasted sourdough (v, vg, gfo)
Panko breaded ham hock & brie fritters served with a sweet melon & madeira relish
Pan seared sea bream on a curried leek, potato & Conwy mussel fricassee with pickled cauliflower (gf)
Traditional roast turkey breast & leg, pigs in blankets, chestnut & cranberry stuffing, creamy mash potato, goose fat roast potatoes, honey roast parsnips, traditional gravy & seasonal vegetables (gfo)
Vegetarian nut roast served with roasted potatoes, creamy mash potato, honey roast parsnips, tender stem broccoli, seasonal vegetables and a shallot & tarragon cream sauce (v)
Roasted pumpkin, portobello mushroom & puy lentil stew with pan fried mixed greens and chesnuts with toasted Henllan bread (v, vg, gfo)
Pan roasted fillet of hake, wilted spinach, crab polenta cake, roasted root salsify and bacon with Cointreau & dill hollandaise sauce (gf)
Slow braised pork shoulder Wellington with a sweet potato & celeriac dauphinoise, mulled cider poached pear, buttered curly kale and Calvados sauce
Sticky stout & treacle glazed beef short rib with confit Jerusalem artichokes, horseradish pomme purée, roasted carrots and beetroot (gf)
Luxury homemade Christmas pudding served with soused blackberries and brandy sauce
Sticky toffee pudding with Parisella’s of Conwy salted caramel ice cream and butterscotch sauce
Spiced roasted plum trifle topped with crystallised almonds
Dark chocolate torte served with passion fruit jelly and sorbet, topped with chocolate soil (gf, v, vg)
Selection of Welsh cheese and biscuits with apple & cinnamon chutney, celery, smoked paprika & parmesan palmiers (£2.50 supplement)
2 courses – £21.95 3 courses – £26.95

Booking is required when dining from our Christmas menu along with a pre-order no less than 14 days before dining. Christmas party bookings must be made by telephone or in person ONLY, unfortunately they cannot be booked through our online system. Please call 01492 593 535 to check availability and book your table. Minimum party size of 8 people.
A non refundable deposit of £10 per head is required to secure the booking.
