A cracking Christmas
We feature some great Christmas guest ales that are brewed just for the season along with steaming mulled wine. Mix these with our roaring open fire, our cosy surroundings and our friendly bar team, and we really have a recipe for a fantastic Christmas.
As always, there’ll be a lively and friendly atmosphere full of festive cheer making it the perfect place for your Christmas meal. Our delicious 2 or 3 course menu oozes festive flavours combining all things traditional along with some new and original dishes.
Menu
Our Christmas menu will be available from Friday 28th of November to Friday 19th December 2025 alongside our normal menu excluding peak busy weekend times: Saturday 12-9pm and Sundays 12-5pm (we are not taking Christmas party bookings during these times due to kitchen capacity).
Booking & Pre Order
Booking is required when dining from our Christmas menu along with a pre-order. Christmas bookings must be made by telephone or in person ONLY, unfortunately they cannot be booked through our online system. Please call 01492 593 535 or pop into the pub to check availability and book your table.
Pre- order - A pre-order will be required no later than 7 days before your sitting. You can submit your pre order online (an email will be sent to you).
Minimum party size of 8 people.
Deposit - A non refundable deposit of £10 per person is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations – Due to the extensive effort and prep that goes into our Christmas menu, cancellations within 24 hours and no shows will be charged at £10 per head.
Wines & Champagnes
We will happily suggest some options for wines and champagnes if you would like to organise these in advance of your party, please just ask if you want some help choosing!
Christmas Day - Closed
We are closed on Christmas Day. We feel it’s a special day and time should be spent with family and friends so we give all of our team the day off and let them enjoy it along with everyone else.

Wednesday 31st December (New Years Eve) – BAR 12-7pm/8pm-late (tickets only from 8pm) / FOOD 12-9pm
